The Eastern Organization for Planning and Human Settlements (EAROPH), a non- governmental multi-secto-rial organization encompassing the private, public and academic sector was established in 1956 to foster the exchange of insights and experiences among countries in the EAROPH region. Founded 1956 to study and promote the provision of better quality of life, housing and planning in the Asian, Australasia and Pacific region. The same aspiration was recently articulated at the global level through Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), particularly SDG #11: to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.
After previously holding congress and conferences in Japan, Malaysia, Brunei, Mongolia, New Zealand, and Indonesia, This coming November 6 - 8, 2107 EAROPH will be coming back to the Philippines and hold its 50th EAROPH Regional Conference in Seda Hotel, Vertis North, Quezon City with the theme “Between Vision and Reality: The Path Towards the Sustainable City”
November 6-7 : Seminar Proper
November 8: Optional Tour
The regional conference will play host to international and local delegates from EAROPH Member countries. Ten (10) foreign and local speakers have been lined-up to share and discuss case studies and best practices in their respective fields.
This has been approved 10cpd points (seminar) and 2cpd points (optional tour) under the Architecture CPD Council.
For Environmental Planners,this can be applied under "Self Directed Learning".Registration details are indicated within the attached documents.
