The first-class municipality of Infanta is blessed with various bodies of land and water that makes it appealing to the tourists. Besides the natural attractions, culturally based attractions are also available in the municipality. The tourism office of the Infanta, along with other stakeholders saw this opportunity and are now spearheading development of programs and projects that will be helpful for the growth of the location.
In order to supplement the growth of location, the proponent proposed a development where facilities that will fulfill the needs of the different stakeholders are available. One of the facilities that the development will cater is a Terminal. This terminal will have feeder system so travelers, which usually travels by bus from urban areas, can travel seamlessly as different modes of transportation are already available on the development. Highlighting Infanta and its people is the Socio-cultural complex, where it has facilities that showcase the culture and traditions and lots of engaging open spaces for celebration, events, or for simple leisurely purposes and relaxation. Commercial and retail facilities will also present in the development to allow Infantahins to showcase products and services that are unique to their location.
The development will have a mutualistic environment where the approach of Critical Regionalism will be employed. It will allow the development to reflect its cultures and tradition and be designed with response to other context that will have influence to the development such as the surrounding, climate, geographical, as well as the social context. The development will allow contemporary architecture to exist with the architecture that resembles Infanta while diving deeper in the context of the site so the proposal can create a link between its place, its people and their culture and traditions.
