In view of the limitations brought forth by the Covid-19 virus and the new normal to become the standard for almost all activities, ATLAS CDC REVIEW CENTER has come with the ARCHITECTURE DESIGN E-REVIEW COURSE for those who will opt for an online mode instead of the usual face-to-face sessions, reviewing for the board exams in the convenience of their own rooms or work/study places. With this scenario, ATLAS-CDC Review Center is very proud to announce the opening of online review course for DESIGN/RULE 7&8 for Architecture in preparation for the JUNE 2022 ALE!
The Design E-Review Course will cover the BASIC DESIGN COURSE with focus on development controls in Rule 7&8 of the NBCP:
- Allowable Maximum Building Footprint (AMBF) and Allowable Maximum Percentage of Site Occupancy (PSO)
- Allowable Minimum Total Open Space within LOT (TOSL)
- Allowable Minimum Unpaved Surface Area (USA)
- Allowable Maximum Impervious Surface Area (ISA)
- Maximum Allowable Construction Area (MACA)
- Allowable Maximum Gross Floor Area (GFA)
- Allowable Maximum Total Gross Floor Area (TGFA)
- Allowable Maximum Volume of Building (AMVB)
- Floor-to-Lot Area Ratio (FLAR)
- Building Height Limit (BHL)
- Development Controls for Residential Zones
- Development Controls for Institutional, Commercial and Industrial Zones
- Additional topics like Estimating and Trigonometry (based on previous exams)
- General Design topics as per syllabus for Day 2 Exam
- And lots of practice design problems and quizzes.
The online review will be delivered thru Live Discussions using ZOOM. Zoom Class is from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm every Saturday on the following dates:
Design E-Review Students will also be given access to the Moodle platform which will contain lecture videos and other review activities such as e-quizzes and forum discussions that will make your e-learning comparable to a classroom environment! Moodle is the world's most popular learning management system. It provides an effective online teaching and learning experience in a collaborative, private environment using your desktop, laptop or even cellphones.
Below is the page of ATLAS-CDC Online Review at Moodle but you can only access the site if you are already a registered user.
You can choose your option for the online mode whether you will only avail of ZOOM only course or MOODLE only course or you may want to be a part of both platforms. It is highly recommended to have both platforms so you can still go back to previous lectures via the Moodle platform.
